What we collect on this website
Information you send us. When you complete the proposal form or the contact form, we receive what you type into it — typically your name, email address, company, country, and a description of what you need. We use it to answer you and, if you become a client, to set up the engagement.
Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
Analytics. We use analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive, in aggregate. Analytics is not used to identify individual visitors. See the cookie usage page.
We do not run advertising on this website and we do not sell personal data.
Legal basis
We process enquiry data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to pursue our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Where consent is the appropriate basis — for optional analytics cookies — we rely on your consent and you may withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
Enquiry data is seen by the people in our firm who need to answer you. We share it outside the firm only:
- with our IT and hosting service providers, under contract and only as needed to run our systems
- where we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Where an enquiry becomes a client engagement, records are retained for the periods required by Turkish tax, commercial and professional legislation.
Server logs and analytics data are retained for a shorter period, in line with our providers' standard retention settings.
Your rights
Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data you may ask us whether we process your personal data, what we hold and why, whether it has been transferred and to whom, to correct it if it is inaccurate, to have it erased or destroyed in the circumstances the law provides, and to object to a result produced solely by automated analysis. Security
We hold ISO 27001 certification for information security and apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we handle — which, for an accounting firm, includes client payroll and financial records.
Changes
We update this policy when the way we handle data changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last reviewed.
