Monetics Serbest Muhasebeci Mali Müşavirlik Ltd. Şti. ("the Firm"), trading for its English-language practice as CPA4Turkey, acts as data controller (veri sorumlusu) within the meaning of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK").

We take the protection of personal data seriously, and in particular the privacy of the individuals whose data reaches us through our clients' accounting and payroll records.
Purposes of processing
We process personal data in order to:
- respond to enquiries received through this website, by email, by telephone and through WhatsApp
- establish and perform our engagement agreements with clients
- identify the persons we transact with, and record identity, address and other information required for that purpose
- prepare and maintain the records and documents, in electronic or paper form, that our services and the applicable legislation require
- comply with the record-keeping, reporting and notification obligations imposed on us by legislation and by the authorities, including tax, social security, commercial, anti-money-laundering and professional legislation
- provide the services requested and fulfil our contractual obligations
Legal grounds
Processing is carried out on the grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, principally: that processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract; that it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject; that it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right; that it is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms; and, where none of these applies, your explicit consent.
Transfers
Personal data may be transferred, within the limits and conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, to:
- public authorities and institutions where legislation requires or permits it — including the Revenue Administration, the Social Security Institution and the Ministry of Trade
- our professional advisers, and the auditors of our clients where the client has instructed us to co-operate with them
- service providers who process data on our behalf under written contract, including IT and hosting providers
- affiliated firms within our group where necessary to deliver the engaged services
We do not sell personal data and we do not transfer it for the marketing purposes of third parties.
Collection channels
Personal data may be collected verbally, in writing or electronically, through:
- this website's enquiry, proposal and appointment booking forms
- email, telephone and messaging correspondence
- documents and records provided by clients in the course of an engagement
- meetings held at our offices or at client premises
- systems and portals operated by public authorities in the course of filings made on a client's behalf
Your rights under Article 11
By applying to us, you have the right to:
- a) learn whether your personal data is being processed
- b) request information about it if it has been processed
- c) learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose
- ç) know the third parties to whom the data has been transferred, in Türkiye or abroad
- d) request correction where the data is incomplete or inaccurate
- e) request erasure or destruction within the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
- f) request that the actions taken under (d) and (e) be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
- g) object to a result to your detriment arising from analysis of the data exclusively by automated means
- ğ) claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing of the data
