Careers

We hire people who want to do technical work for international clients, in English, and be trusted with it early.

Who we are looking for

We are an accounting and financial advisory practice of more than seventy professionals, serving over 450 client companies of which roughly 90% are foreign-capital. That means our work is technical, bilingual and client-facing from early on.

We recruit across:

  • Accounting and bookkeeping — staff and senior accountants working on the statutory books of international subsidiaries
  • Payroll — specialists in Turkish payroll, social security and employment incentives
  • Tax — return preparation, provisional and annual corporate tax, and tax consultancy
  • Financial reporting — IFRS and US-GAAP conversion and group reporting packages
  • Client management — for candidates with the experience to own a portfolio

What we ask for

Working English. Not perfect English — working English. You will be writing to controllers in Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom, and explaining Turkish rules to people who have never encountered them. If you cannot yet do that comfortably in writing, tell us; we would rather know.

A professional path. SMMM licence, SMMM traineeship in progress, or a relevant degree with the intention of qualifying. We support the traineeship and the exams.

Curiosity about why, not just how. The rules change every year. People who understand why a rule exists adapt when it moves; people who memorised the procedure do not.

What we offer

  • Client work with international companies from the start, rather than years of data entry first
  • Support through the SMMM traineeship and examinations
  • Exposure to IFRS and US-GAAP reporting, which is difficult to get outside a large firm
  • Ankara, Istanbul or London
  • Colleagues who trained at Big Four firms and are willing to teach

How to apply

Send your CV and a short note about what you want to be doing in three years to info@monetics.com.tr, with the role you are interested in in the subject line.

We read everything that arrives and reply to candidates we want to meet. If you do not hear from us within two weeks, we are not moving forward on this occasion — and you are welcome to apply again when something changes.
